As doctor Asim is in custody of NAB and Sindh Rangers more news about corruption are wiping out. Dr Asim Hussain was remanded into police custody for four days last week over allegations of corruption and facilitating terrorists at his private hospital. He is currently in custody of Investigation department of the District Central Police.
The former adviser is expected to appear before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday. His remand will be sought from an accountability court in case it’s rejected by the ATC tomorrow.
The Sindh Rangers registered a case against Dr Asim at a North Nazimabad police station on Wednesday last week, soon after the expiry of the 90-day remand that the paramilitary force had obtained from an anti-terrorism court for interrogation after his arrest in August.
