Pak Army shoots down Indian drone at LoC

Indian drone shot down. Pakistan Army shot down an Indian drone near LoC. Director-General ISPR Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa on twitter said that Indian quadcopter was shot down by the troops at Aagahi post in Rakhchakri sector. He said that the quadcopter had intruded 60 metres inside Pakistani territory. Bajwa said that it fell near Agahi post and was taken into custody by Pakistani troops.

Three other civilians were also injured due to the firing. Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to the aggression and targeted Indian posts.

Condemning the incident, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria sympathised with the bereaved families and also prayed for the recovery of the injured.

On Sunday, seven Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom after Indian forces carried out unprovoked firing at LoC, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday dared Indian military to tell its casualties, saying that Pakistan Army killed 11 Indian troops in return for its seven martyrs.

During an informal conversation with media in Islamabad, he said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now understood Pakistan’s stance that aggression across LoC was useless.
